This policy explains what information Local Hero SEO (“we”, “us”) collects through localheroseo.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Free scan and teardown. The website address you submit, your main service, target city, name, and email address, plus the publicly available content and performance data of the website you submit.
- Contact form. Your name, email address, and message.
- Purchases. Your name, email address, country, and ZIP code, plus order details. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Automatically. Your IP address (used for rate limiting and fraud prevention), basic browser and device information, and usage data collected through Google Analytics and similar cookies.
How we use it
- To run your scan, prepare and deliver your report, and email you the private link
- To fulfill orders, deliver downloads, and provide support
- To reply to your messages
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and spam
- To understand how the Site is used and improve it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business, each limited to what they need:
- Stripe for payment processing
- Our web host and email providers to run the Site and send messages
- Google for analytics and website performance testing
- Service providers that help us analyze websites and prepare reports
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.
Cookies
The Site uses cookies needed for the shopping cart, checkout, and account login, plus analytics cookies to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop checkout from working.
How long we keep it
Teardown reports are available for 30 days after purchase and then expire. Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes. Contact messages and scan submissions are kept as long as reasonably needed to respond and follow up. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in that email. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under local law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. Security
We use HTTPS across the Site, keep payment details with Stripe, and limit access to stored information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.
Children
The Site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
