Local Hero SEO sells digital products and services only. Nothing is physically shipped, so there is nothing to return. This page explains exactly when you can get your money back and when you cannot.

Themes and plugins
Every theme and plugin sold in the Pro Shop comes with a 14 day refund window starting on the date of purchase. If the product does not work as described, conflicts with a standard, up to date WordPress install, or simply is not the right fit, email us within 14 days and we will process a full refund.
Before requesting a refund, please give support a chance. Most issues are a plugin conflict, a caching layer, or a server setting, and most are solved in a single reply. If we cannot solve it, you get your money back.
When a refund is issued:
- The refund goes back to your original payment method.
- Your download access for that product is removed, along with updates and support.
- You must remove the product from any site where it is installed.
We may decline a refund when the request comes more than 14 days after purchase, the product has been shared, resold, or redistributed, the request repeats an earlier refunded purchase of the same product, or you want to keep part of a bundle. Bundles refund as a whole or not at all.
Site Teardown ($29)
The Site Teardown is non-refundable. All sales are final.
Before you pay anything, you run a free scan and see real findings from your own site, including your score and a preview of what was found. You know what you are getting before you spend a dollar. Once you pay, the full itemized report is delivered immediately, so the product is consumed at the moment of purchase. By completing checkout for a Site Teardown, you request immediate delivery of digital content and waive any right of withdrawal once it is delivered.
The $29 is credited back against any work you book with us. That credit is the way to get value back from a teardown, not a refund.
The one exception: if a technical failure on our end means you paid and never received a report, contact us and we will deliver the report or refund the $29 in full. This covers delivery failures only, not disagreement with the findings.
Reports stay available at a private link for 30 days. Save or print yours before it expires. An expired report is not grounds for a refund.
Monthly SEO plans
Monthly plans are billed in advance on a rolling one month term. There is no long-term contract and no cancellation fee.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops all future billing.
- The current month is not refundable or prorated. Work runs continuously through the month and is committed at the start of the cycle.
- Deliverables continue through the end of the month you already paid for.
SEO results depend on factors outside anyone’s control, including search engine algorithms and competitor behavior. Refunds are not issued on the basis of ranking outcomes.
Duplicate and failed charges
If you were charged twice for the same order, or a failed transaction still shows a charge, contact us with the order number. Genuine duplicate charges are refunded in full, regardless of the product.
How to request a refund
Email thegoodguysseo@gmail.com with the email address used at checkout, the order number, the product name, and a short note on what went wrong. Requests are reviewed within 2 business days. Approved refunds go to the original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
Chargebacks
If you have a problem, contact us first. We are a small operation and we answer our own email. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us first results in removal of download access, cancellation of any active plan, and loss of access to any purchased report.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version in effect on the date of your purchase applies to that purchase.
